When focusing on getting healthy, the mind gets hectic and bogged down with counting calories, writing in your food journal, & exercising.  It is very important while managing your new health lifestyle to carve out time to relax.  We all have time schedules and goals we want to reach but we don’t want to be so rigid in our life management style that we live no room to breathe.  

Flexibility is key our health as well.  As we stretch our bodies to gain more flexibility, we should also stretch our minds to do the same for our thinking.  It is ok to miss a workout to hang out with family. It is ok to go off the diet to eat with your sorority sisters.  These breaks will help you appreciate the journey so much more.   Remember the journey is just as important as the destination
