Motivational Monday: South Korean Women Make Strides for Peace

After reading the Reuter's article 'Women leave for North Korea and DMZ', I had a new appreciation for the art of war. For a country such as North Korea to once be considered as the 'Axis of Evil' by president George Bush, nuclear weapons tend to come to mind rather than peaceful protest. After nearly seven decade of discontent, 30 women are taking a stand. "I believe that we are, basically by crossing the DMZ, breaking through this mental state that this is a permanent division," one of the women said. I commend, uplift, and pray that these brave continue to make strides for peace.
