Will a FAT Woman Ever Be on the Elle Cover in the United States?

As a plus size woman, I am always elated to see any representation of me in media.  I think the media is making strides in promoting beauty among all races and sizes.  My belief is that we all need to strive to change the standard of beauty and the one dimension version of beauty the media forces down our throat.  I was very excited to see on my face book timeline that Elle has put plus-size blogger Ju Romano on the cover the Brazil Magazine for the month of May especially since it is sans Photoshop.  She looks absolutely fabulous on the cover. I love the peek-a-boo of her rolls.  She represents every woman on the cover of Elle. I love it

As I was telling my best friend about this cover, I wondered when Elle was going to be bold enough to make the same move on its cover in the US.  There are plenty of beautiful plus size bloggers I can think of right now.  I truly love the fact that magazines like Elle are making statements in other countries but I think the United States is ready to see a true plus size woman on the cover a magazine.  The only way to change a culture the standard of beauty is to include all women.  It is time to color outside of the lines.  Be on the trendsetter in America.  Change Beauty Standards by putting a Big Girl on Your Cover.   #plusintheusa

Who would you like to see grace the cover of Elle the United States magazine?
