Fit Friday: Age Ain't Nothing But A Number!



In conjunction to help my mom keep her Pinky Promise here are a tips for my 55 and Better PhatSkinny Chic

Talk with your physician about different exercises to try

Start out slowly- Whatever exercise you choose to do, always start out slowly.  If you are choosing to walk, try walking to your mailbox or to the stop sign in your neighborhood to build up your stamina Remember to warm up and cool down when exercising.  It will help keep muscles and bones safe

Tell a friend-This helps keep you accountable and keep you socially active as well

Pencil in “Workouts” into your phone calendar- Having an alarm set on your phone to remind you to work out will help maintain a regular exercise routine.
Set Goals-  Ex. “I will be working out for 45 minutes 3 days a week in 5 weeks
