WCW: Me, Myself, and I

I love lifting up other people, but sometimes I need to do the same for yourself! Am I a celebrity? Nah! Am I rich? Not yet! Do I meet everyone's expectations...not even mine, so nope!  Why shouldn't I get to be my own woman crush Wednesday?

Let me think...have I overcome at least one obstacle? Yes, I have way to many to list in one blog. Do I try my best and gracefully accept the bad days? Not always, but more often than not. Am I growing as a woman, wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, auntie, employee, or employer? Well, honestly no, but only because I don't fit all those roles. Do I try to encourage or support others? ALWAYS (that is the hallmark of an outstanding woman and citizen). Did I do household chores and cook as if I was auditioning for the walking dead (dead tired that is!)? Occasionally, I can't tell a lie, because I am working on my relationship with the Lord (lbvs!).

Today, for the first time this year, I took my daughter to school late. Strike one! It is 9:32; I'm just writing a blog entry which was supposed to be written last night. Strike two! My house is a COMPLETE mess (Jesus, Lord help me). Strike three! You would think I've struck out for today, BUT as long as I inhale and exhale I have another chance to GET MY LIFE!  I have to love me first. I can be surrounded by people who adore me sometimes and still feel lost in space.  Everyone has these moments, so I know I am not alone. When we are busy counting strikes instead of blessings, we don't see the fullness of who we are. I can be me all by my damn self! Yes, I said it and so can you! Never shrink yourself to make others appear larger. When you dream big dreams and achieve them, you inspire others. Let your light shine so it can help others lost in the dark.
