Don’t Order lemon pepper wings
Vacation is a time to venture outside of the culinary comfort zone. Food is a great way to embrace other cultures.  

Don’t forget insurance
When renting a car, don’t hesitate to get the insurance offered in the contract.  It will cost extra moola, but it will be worth it.

Don’t be A-Hole
When traveling with friends, don’t be the person who must have their way.  Everyone paid money to have a good time. Don’t ruin it for others because of a bad attitude.

Don’t do everything together
Let the shoppers go shopping while the others sunbathe at the beach. Flexibility on vacation is the key to happiness and relaxation.

Embarrassing drunk friend
Let me say this bluntly. Loud obnoxious drunk people are no fun.  Know your drink limit.

Don’t Fly Cheap Airlines like Spirit
Overall, the services Spirit provide were not bad.  They get the job done.  By the time we finished paying for all the extras, we could have flown Delta.

Don’t Be Hangry
I am guilty of this.  I am the hangry friend.  I am grumpy when tired, hot, or hungry.  I am a straight up when I am all three.  When traveling, have a friend on "Bitch Alert."  She is the friend that will tell you when you are being a bitch.

Don’t Choke Other People’s Kids
We have all been there. The one annoying child you wish the parent would control.  Remember there are laws against child cruelty, so keep your hands to yourself.

Don’t Phone Home
We go on vacation to get away from annoying people. Why insist on talking to them every day while on vacation?  Two phone calls should be made.  One to say "I landed, safely."  The other to say, "My plane lands at 5 pm. Please be outside waiting."  

Don’t post everything to Social Media
Posting pictures on social media to make your friends jealous is cool, but do keep some pictures for blackmail. Live by the code: "What does on in Las Vegas; Stays in Las Vegas."
