5 Fabulous Fun Family Activities…

As a PHATSkinny Chic, we are fantastic moms. Some kind of way, we manage to get the kids to school, baseball games, & camps all on time. We keep rigid schedules especially with our children.  There are times when we want to hang loose, be free and have fun with our Rugrats.  Here are 5 Fabulous Fun Kid Friendly Activities any PHATSkinny Chic & her family would love:

1.       Teach your kids your favorite childhood games such as hopscotch, foursquare, kickball, & dodge-ball. Show them momma still has the moves. These activities can fill up a whole afternoon and bring much laughter and joy to your family

2.       Take them to a local radio station.  Radio Stations give free tours. It is a great learning activity and just maybe you could have the next radio star.

3.       Have a Camcorder? Haven’t used in a while? Well whip it out and star in your own TV show!  Have your children create a puppet show or a talk show for the family. A lot of computers/laptops come with light editing tools for movies. Shoot! Edit! Load on Youtube for your friends and family to view or host a Premier Night of the show with popcorn and sodas.

4.       There is nothing like an Old-fashion Water Battle!!! This is a great time to be had by all whether you have small kids or teenagers. Fill up buckets, balloons, get the water hose and go at it! It is a great way to cool off.

5.       Attend Festivals!!! Check out the local newspaper or local county websites to check out the happenings for the weekend.  Many times it is a festival going on in your own backyard which will expose your kids to other cultures and local history.
