Green Shake Lunch Date
For lunch today, I enjoyed a quick green shake that is perfect for those on the go! I start with a base of kale. For a regular sized smoothie, begin handful of frozen kale. Next add your frozen fruit. Frozen fruit is often bagged as tropical or berry mix. For this particular smoothie, I chose the tropical (strawberry, banana, and pineapple). I pour in around 2 cups. I also added cucumber to balance the bitterness of the kale. Also some sprinkles of flaxseed for good measure, a splash of lime juice and a hint of honey. Finally, add water. I usually add around half of the contents (less for a thicker consistency, more for thinner). Blend and enjoy!
