Daisy Ridley of Star Wars Clapback on being Body Shamed

Body Shaming Works Both Ways!

Everyone wants to be treated fairly regardless of their shape.  We hear about body-shaming when comes to the plus-size community. What happens when it is on the opposite end of the spectrum? I know I have been guilty of telling my smaller sister to "eat a sandwich."  Which is just as wrong as someone telling me to "eat more salads!" Body Shaming is wrong no matter the a person's size.  Whether we are short or tall, fat or small, we are all people seeking to be happy and live well.

I love the starlet, Daisy Ridley of Star Wars clapback to a follower on Instagram.

"'Real women' are all shapes and sizes, all ethnicities, all levels of brave, have families, don't have families," she wrote in a post to her own Instagram account. "I am a 'real woman' like every other woman in this world." (Today.com)

Women comparing themselves to one another is insane. Our many quirks, traits, and attributes make us beautiful. We need to spend more time appreciating each other than tearing each other down.  Now is the time we need to come together on this one issue.  Body-Shaming is pointless.
