FIT Friday: LIFT

Ladies, ladies, ladies!
                Okay, it’s been a while but I want to bring your attention back to WEIGHT 

TRAINING.



Are you tired of that excess skin under your arms and or in between your thighs? Yes, I am talking about that skin that haunts you every time you are putting on a new sleeveless shirt or a pair of shorts for the summer. Well the good news is that there is a solution for it! The bad news, as with everything regarding weight less, it will TAKE TIME. That’s okay though, because I am here to help boost your self-esteem and perhaps shed some light into your fitness world so you can go out there and own those weight training machines and dumbbells, not to mention your weight loss journey! Weight training will help you to tighten that loose skin that bothers you so much as well as lift your breast up (AMAZING RIGHT?). Just always make sure to stay between 5-15 lbs. when using dumbbells to do all your exercises.

Five Below and Ross are great places to look for dumbbells for
the low low.
So for example:

Week 1 & 2- 4 sets of 8-12 reps (5lbs.)
Week 3 & 4- 4 sets of 8-12 reps (7.5lbs.)
Week 5 & 6- 4 sets of 8-12 reps (10lbs.)
Week 7 & 8- 4 sets of 8-12 lbs (15lbs.)

REMEMBER: Your weight loss journey is not the same as anyone else's. If you need to take an extra week on 5lbs. THAT IS OKAY. You do what you can, as long as you feel the burn. If you begin to feel like the weight amount is too easy for you, you are ready to move on to the next level of weights.

I am a huge fan of this bodybuilding website, they help you in many ways from meal plans, to training programs and much more. The other day I came across an awesome article and training program on their site. It’s called “The Female Training Bible”. If that title doesn’t draw you in, then I do not know what will! It surely did catch my attention and I have decided that when I am done with my current program, I will begin this one October! I encourage you all to take a chance and if you are interested in doing this program, DO IT with me! I know that some of the exercises on there make you think twice about doing it, but don’t let that discourage you. Even if you are not able to do it the first time around, I guarantee that you will be able to do it with time and get better at it every time you try.
