Karla Beedles is a 35 year old fashionpreneur!  She has taken her love of fashion & coupled it with her dream of being an entrepreneur & helping others to meet their dreams.  

What makes you an Extraordinary Woman?  

My faith, persistence & desire to help others reach their goals makes me an extraordinary woman.

Tell me more about your organization/business?  

My organization exists to supply women with fashion accessories that will challenge them to try new things while giving scholarships to students in fashion design school.  

How is your business/organization impacting women’s lives?  

Our events give women an outlet to network & explore the latest accessory trends.  Great accessories with an outfit contribute to a woman's daily confidence.

What was your aha moment?  

I've had a desire to own a jewelry business for a few years.  It was in the fourth quarter of 2013 that I realized the best way for me to achieve this desire was via an online store.  I started some research & things progressed from there.  

What obstacles have you had to overcome? How did you overcome them? One of my biggest obstacles has been my desire for things to be perfect.  I am constantly reminding myself that you have to start somewhere & things can grow & change as my company grows.  

How do you maintain Good Health?  I wish I could say I worked out consistently, but I just started this about two weeks ago.  However, I do pay close attention to portion sizes & what i take in each day.  I have at least one healthy salad per day and I drink 4 16oz bottles of water.  

  

Any recommended reading that has inspired you on your journey?  I am inspired by people who started at the bottom, but have succeeded in their dreams.  I read blogs from Dr. Stacia Pierce to keep me inspired.  Her quotes & stories inspire me to go for my dreams.  

What are your tried and true sho’ nuff steps to success?  Consistency is the key to success!  No matter what, keep moving forward.  Despise not small beginnings.
