I was sad to read about the passing of Legendary Actress Ms. Ruby Dee. She was an inspiration to me because she was a socially conscious actor. I also love the fact that she and her late husband Ossie Davis performed in many movies together. Instead of building separate careers they worked to build their careers together. I love this idea. I believe we can accomplish more together than separate. The beauty, wisdom and legacy Ms Dee left behind is immeasurable. She will be greatly missed.
