Selfie Addict: Monday Motivation
I must confess I am a selfie addict, but I have good cause to be one. Before you judge me, hear me out. After you hear my reason why, I believe you will join my team. In 2012 when I started my health journey I began to do a visual document of my progress. It was the motivation I needed to lose 40lbs. Seeing the inches come off and my body changed was the fuel I needed to keep going. Well, sometime last year I got away from my documentation of my journey and my weight slowly crept back up. I didn't realize until I started back comparing my weight loss from month to month that I was holding myself accountable. What many of friends and family saw as vanity, was really my fuel.

I read this book recently called Holy Discontent. Through this book, I found
documenting my journey is a part of my Holy Discontent. Holy Discontent is the thing that God has placed in you to do. It is the thing you are Passionate about the most. You wake up with on your mind you go to sleep with it on your mind. It is your purpose. Taking selfie helped me to realize that Phatskinny Chic is my Holy Discontent. It is my passion to help women and men who like me to continue on their health journey. I am not a size 6, but baby I'm healthier than ever. I love it
