Friends Food & Shopping

This week, I celebrated PSC 3rd Birthday with Friends, Food & Shopping.  Charming Charlies opened their doors to host my event.  I met new people. Introduced my friends to a wonderful brand.  The event was beyond my expectations.  It allowed me the opportunity to connect my fellow PHATSkinny Chics.   Charming Charlies' Girls' Night Out program created a buzz for PHATSkinny Chic.  People enjoyed shopping and mingling. Charming Charlie’s met their sales goals. I executed my event with a budget of $150

Here’s How I did it:

Girls Night Out- Charming Charlies has a program where anyone can host a GNO.  I walked in to talk to the store manager. We set a date.  I went about inviting my friends to the party. I used eventbrite.com to help manage my guest list.  Easy-peasy!

Set a Menu- I wanted people to walk around and shop. I created a simple menu with my mom, and she made it happen.  We had cucumber sandwiches, sausage balls, and chicken salad.  We had apple cider to drink.

Tablescape- Luckily, my mom owns dishes for entertaining.  My mom stacked glass cake platters together to create a tiered look. She bought napkins off the clearance rack from Tuesday Morning.  Hobby Lobby and Party City are her best friends. She did her signature decor of a glass vase with tissue paper inside.  Using this look is a creative solution to decorating with flowers.  Simple, elegant and effortless!

Photography- I took pictures with my Samsung Galaxy.  The pictures were candid and captured the essence of the event.  *affiliate link*

Hosting my event at Charming Charlies, sparked the imagination of other business owners.  Many of my fellow business ladies are looking to host an event at Charming Charlie's. My choice to take a different path created a new road for others to follow.  My philosophy is to "work smarter not harder".  Working with my mom was so much fun, I want to share with you how we accomplished it.
